In the very same year of our inception, we embarked on a unique project: www.bahraini-pearls.com, a dedicated online portal for Bahraini Pearls. We did not know the strength of avoiding a hyphen in a domain name then. This website was the world\u2019s first on natural pearls as per Yahoo listings and followed suit by nova-pearls, a cultured pearl store (www.nova-pearl.com, who did the same domain name mistake like us) by the Japanese in 1998.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The website gradually attracted visitors from various countries. The web-counter hit an average of 100+ visits daily, thanks to Yahoo’s pioneering web-ads exchange program. This pre-social era initiative helped convey the rich heritage of pearl diving in Bahraini waters. To our surprise, the Ministry of Tourism, Government of Bahrain, noticed and recognised us by adding the domain name to their official portal under the useful links section.
